Piano duo Görög Sisters presented us their first album “Let’s Play” and the music video “Trilogy”, produced by Electe Production. The premiere in Subotica thrilled a numerous audience in the Great hall of the City hall in Subotica.
A great interest prevailed this cultural event. The audience, as we are already accustomed on concerts in the organization of Electe, was of various ages. Unique for their gaiety and great love towards artistic music, people busily occupied their seats. For those who came a little later the organizers provided additional chairs. Only a few people, however, stood.
On the canvas, in the central part of the Great Hall, the logotype of the Piano duo Görög Sisters suggests that we will also see the premiere of the music video.
The slide with the inscription is changing – C. Gardel: Variations on a theme Por una Cabeza arr. Milica Ilić.
And then comes the young pianist Görög Enikő. She starts to play. But, where is here sister Noémi? Only now she comes out. The audience notices she is “angry”.
The precise, interesting and innovative dramatic play of the sisters completes their exquisite music making. The audience did not save their applause, while recognizing the new concept of a multi-media event.
The slide changes and announces another composition – Brahms: Hungarian dances No. 4 and 6 and Görög sister continue in a cheerful character. This time we are left with familiar tones only, without a special stage performance.
In the end, the intense applause turns into a distinctive rhythm that reveals sincere enthusiasm of the audience.
“Places, everybody. Quietly, we will record!” warns a voice through a megaphone. On the stage, Miss Mrđanov already appeared with her favorite prop – the film flap.
“Aleksandar Vujić – Serbian kolo. First time!” The flap falls, and Görög Sisters reveal us a very attractive composition.
The premiere in Subotica continues with the projection of three short stories that make the whole music video “Trilogy” – Inversion, The Wall and Perpetuum Mobile.
In the role of a good host, after the projection, the audience was addressed by Mr. Miloš Radović, President of Association Electe.
Among other things, he pointed out:
Görög Sisters, Noémi and Enikő, were with us from the very beginning and tonight we are especially proud of this. Two young, and yet already accomplished artists embark on a new artistic adventure. Electe Production is following. Let’s Play! It calls on music, but also on playing. They share similar values – freedom, harmlessness, creativity.
After this, Mr. Radović thanks everyone who supported this project and he introduces a part of the Electe Production team that was engaged in the making of the music video.
For the very end, Görög Sisters played the famous Libertango (A. Piazzolla), in the arrangement of Bojan Mladenović.
To the delight of the audience, this still wasn’t the end. Very thunderous and long applauses “forced” the Sisters to an encore.
