Let’s Dance… Come and join us in Budapest at Lumen Café for the debut of the Görög Sisters’ second album.
We are proud to announce that this May the Görög Sisters have released their second album under the title Let’s Dance.
The promotional tour for the second album starts in an unusual location: Café Lumen in Budapest (Lumen Kávézó – Horánszky utca 5), on Wednesday, May 22, 8 p.m.
The new album includes passionate ballet music (Tchaikovsky), a decadent apotheosis of the waltz (Ravel), character pieces in dance form (Barber), tunes rooted in popular and folk music in romantic dress-up (Brahms) or in 20th century costume (Vujić), as well as a dance suite based on jazz elements (Ilić). Each piece presents the same phenomenon, the inseparable intertwining of music and dance, in different ways.
The CD was recorded in Klaviermanufaktur Steingraeber & Söhne in Bayreuth (Germany).
The sound engineer was Christoph Sapp, sappsound.de
The main sponsor of this album is NKA (National Cultural Fund of Hungary).
Tickets for the concert are available on site for 1500 HUF.
All welcome!
