Piano duo
Early December we spent an amazing week in Bayreuth, Germany, where we recorded the material for our latest album at the piano manufacturer Steingraeber & Söhne. The best news is: our new album will be out soon, so you can hear our performance, too. We are incredibly grateful for the support and endless patience of our sound producer on site, Christoph Sapp.
We are proud to announce that that the Görög Sisters Piano Duo was selected as one of this year’s prize winners at the International Summer Academy of the Mozarteum University Salzburg!
With the summer full in swing, the Görög Sisters are proud to report that despite the raging storms at the Balaton lakeside, we played successful concerts at the Lake BalARTon festival (Klassz a pARton). Here is a quote from the summary by Estilla Molnár published in the August 1, 2018 issue of the Fidelio magazine:
We are happy to announce that the Görög Sisters piano duo took First Prize at the III. Sardoal International Piano Meeting in the four-hands category. Further, the piano duo was also awarded the Jury Grand Prize for the overall winner of the competition.
The Görög Sisters piano duo is playing at the University of Szeged – Faculty of Music, Fricsay Ferenc concert hall on Monday, June 25, 2018, starting at 19.00.
