We have recently returned from a wonderful week spent in Coimbra, Portugal, at the Academia Internacional de Música, working with Professor Aquiles Delle Vigne. We’ve recharged our batteries and are now full of energy and new musical ideas, ready to start preparations for our summer programs. Here is a list including some of our upcoming summer events in Hungary coming up in July.
For the third year in row, the Görög Sisters have been invited to play at the successful concert series ‘Summer nights and concerts by Lake BalARTon’ (the original title: Klassz a pARTon), held at various locations around Lake Balaton. We owe a great thank you to piano artist Tamás Érdi for the kind invitation.

The audience will be treated to a real Lake Balaton summer feeling concert on July 18, 2018, at the venue in Szent Erzsébet Liget, in Balatonalmádi, Hungary. Our concert program for four hands is sophisticated yet also includes light summery, lakeside pieces by Barber, Brahms, Kodály and Ilić.
Lake Balaton will also be the location of a number of childrens’ concerts. Join us for a ‘Trip around the piano’ at two concerts we will be playing with Győző Lukácsházi. Let’s play, learn and listen to music together on the lakeshore!
