We are happy to announce that the Görög Sisters piano duo won the Grand Prix at the Wiener MusikSeminar’s competition. The contest was organized in memory of the seminar’s founder, Prof. Dr. Josef Dichler.
The International Master Classes of the Wiener MusikSeminar are being held in Vienna at the University of Music and Performing Arts for 50 years. These masterclasses are giving chance for young, talented musicians from all over the world to work with well-known professors, and also there are many possibilities to perform in exceptional places and concert halls in front of curious and grateful audience.
The Görög Sisters piano duo would like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to the festival’s organizers for the amazing experiences. It was an honor to play in Vienna in unusual circumstances due to this pandemic period. Also, it was really a special feeling to play a Mozart duet on a concert in Haydn’s birthplace in Rohrau.
The duo attended Professor Aquiles Delle Vigne’s classes. Like always, their „musical batteries” have been recharged working with him. They are now full of energy and new ideas, ready to start the preparations for their autumn programs.
The first concert will be in Kragujevac (Serbia), on 23rd September at the 7th International Chamber Music Festival „Convivium Musicum”.
