Recommendation
It gives me special pleasure to strongly and warmly recommend the piano duo of the Görög Sisters: Noémi and Enikő Görög.
I first heard the two very brilliant and profound pianists at the Poros Academy in Greece where they each won the professor’s top prizes.
My wife and I – The Kanazawa-Admony Piano Duo – consequently invited the sisters to the Tel Hai International Piano Master Classes in Israel. They were selected from amongst a great number of piano duos for a distinction scholarship.
During the 3-week course they excelled in memorable performances of Bartók 7 pieces from Mikrokosmos, all of Brahms’ waltzes op.39, La Valse by Ravel and other pieces.
They exhibit high pianism, a refined style, an exciting grasp of rhythm, perfect co-ordination and we believe they represent an thrilling and captivating piano duo of the highest quality and are destined for great success.
In fact, following the course, they went straight on to win the 2nd prize in the Johannes Brahms chamber music competition in Austria. This was undoubtedly one of many stations towards success that they will experience and enjoy in their musical journey.
